Frog wins UKLA and SLA Awards 2026

We set out to do something very different with this series: Moth, Fox, and Frog together answer children’s biggest questions about life, death and the evolution of the universe itself, in a way that shows scientific answers are no less beautiful and awe-inspiring than traditional stories.

I’m so proud that Moth, Fox and Frog now each have their own awards. A huge thank you to everyone involved in the 2026 UKLA (United Kingdom Literacy Association) Book Awards and the The School Library Association (SLA) Information Book Award – you have completely made my year! Fox and Moth both won the AAAS Prize for Excellence in Science Books, in 2023 and 2020.

Moth, Fox and Frog are illustrated by the incredible artist Daniel Egnéus and published by Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. Look out for some very special Frog events for schools in 2027 – more on that in August!
