From artists to aviators and scientists to revolutionaries, Little Guides to Great Lives is a brand new series of small-format guides introducing children to the most inspirational figures from history in a fun, accessible way.

It was a pleasure to work with so many incredible illlustrators on these titles – Anke Weckmann, Marianna Madriz, Hannah Warren, Paola Escobar and Katja Spitzer. Each book is illustrated using a different three Pantone colours, to stunning effect.

The Little Guides To Great Lives have been translated into more than 15 languages to date.

In 2019, I ran Little Guides events at the Paris Book Fair, Wimpole History Festival and Heffers, Cambridge, often teaming up with Marianna Madriz (illustrator of Frida Kahlo and Stephen Hawking).
